Education: postgraduate degree
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT)
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia.
- 2+ years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong passion for patient care and manual therapy.
- NPI (National Provider Identifier) required.
- Dedication to holistic, patient-centered rehabilitation and individualized treatment plans.
Skills:
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques (soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial release)
- Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment abilities
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and movement correction
- Experience with pain management techniques
- Understanding of postural assessment and gait analysis
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols for various conditions
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
- Strong patient education and coaching skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to build trust and rapport with patients
- Active listening skills to understand patient concerns
